Sold: Vintage V6 reissued Stratocaster flame maple top £170

I bought this with the idea of having a little fun modding the living daylights out of it. I have however run out of time and inclination and therefore it’s up for sale. 

The body looks to be alder with a rather nice flame maple veneer. It’s been aftermarket routed to take a humbucker in the neck, originally routed HSS.

Fender American deluxe style contoured heel

The neck is in good condition. The frets do not display any significant wear and the radius is 10”.

A trio of Wilkinson hot alnico V pickups

Full-size potentiometers / Orange drop capacitors

Wilkinson WVC tremolo with bent steel saddles

Little else to say really. Pictures below - Please take a careful look. It’s in good condition with a few marks on it.

Just idly musing ... maybe I could mod some living daylights out of it!

1.  What mods where you thinking about originally?
2.  Is there anything non-original as it is today?
3.  Assume that’s a delivered price (I’d be happy for it to be shipped with neck removed).

On another note, my proposed mods (since I don't have your woodworking skills)

sand off the logo and apply a personalised custom decal

1. Graphite / foil screen the pickups / control cavity

2. Wilkinson WLS130 locking saddles

3. Possibly a brown tortoiseshell pickguard

4. Different pickup configurations

a. A set of Mojo '60s strat pickups that I've got

b. Single HB (DiMarzio Super Distortion)
- One volume control
- With push push pot series/parallel switching on the vol control

c.HSS 
I have one with 510K resistors in parallel for the single coils 
so the humbucker sees 500K
the single coils see 250K

Hi Jay

Thanks for the "hold" - but please don't hold it if someone else comes along throwing the cash at you.      When I get some time to myself (I'm flat-out working 12hr days at the moment), I'll work out what I might do with it - including whether I'd ever get around to doing anything at all! - and if it's still around, then I'll let you know.

If anything, it's too "nice" to have me mess about with the finish, etc.

For anyone  considering it, and not knowing Jay, he's a completely trustworthy guy so have no worries about dealing with him.
