Really like Raw however I still wish there were less triggers and samples on the drums. The drums just sound a bit dead and have done for about 20 years. The version of La Grange with Daryl's house just takes the drums up a notch with a proper live acoustic sound. .

Love ZZ Top, they are masters of creating mystery.....like how this recording just happened to come about lol. The amount of gear he carries to get that tone and the time taken to record it is far from off the cuff. Always smoke and mirrors with the Top.

Certainly a fair bit of gear used - and not what you'd expect either!
