    Great video @Bork & @BillDL .   Providing nitro spray is non-reactive over a CA'd finish, this looks spot on.  I would only need to basically do the first stage as I won't be using it as the final gloss.

    I'll do some sample offcuts and see how it goes.  I'll let you know  :)

    Gluboost as far as I can tell (I've bought some) is an expensive way to buy super glue. Cellulose goes over the top no trouble at all.

    CA glue will melt with acetone and other industrial grade thinners.

    Yes - as I am only seeking to 'case harden' the timber surface before spraying, I reckon I will be able to just use my standard low viscosity CA. 

    Good to know that cellulose goes over CA OK, Steve.  I was going to email you with the same question as it's your spray I'm using  (of course! ;) )
