Gone…Gibson Custom Shop 1956RI Les Paul VOS R6
A recent arrival for me and a guitar I've been wanting to own for a while now... It's absolutely amazing but as regular readers will know I have glass wrists (tendon issues) so here we again with me having to move on a guitar I love.
It's a 2015 R6 Les Paul Goldtop made in the Gibson custom Shop. I recently had a R7 (57RI) Which is basically the same guitar but with PAF's. I'm a big p90 fan and this thing really does sound amazing. I've been playing it through my Rift Americana and what a combo they are together.
It's got a chunky C neck which is really comfy and easy to play. I'd say it feels more 58 than 59 in size. As expected with the Custom Shop it's got really nice rolled edges. The frets have loads of life in them and it's set up with a low action.
In really good condition> I've taken pics of any small marks.
It weighs?? (will grab scales from work and update.) and is really well balanced both playing sat up and on the strap.
Comes with the brown lifton custom Gibson case , COA and all the swing tag bits.
Looking for £2800 but open to trades on this one for the right guitar.
