Do Pink Floyd have any good songs?

I confess I've never owned or listened to any pink Floyd songs unless overheard on a Jukebox or radio.  And the handful I've heard seem dreary, slow and and depressing. 

Obviously I've missed the hype.

Do they have any good songs worth checking out?

If you're loking for 'good songs' then I suspect PF (any incarnation) is unlikely to be the band you're looking for.

Plenty of songs I like are slow and have sad undercurrents, but I consider them 'good'. So you need to narrow that one down a touch, chap...

Why not buy a cassette player and find out? If you ask nicely, I am sure that someone will record some of their stuff onto a C90 for you.

Im sure they do,  they do seem quite popular and have sold quite a few LPs

Nope - they've never had any good songs. Not one. 
Which is the reason they've never had a long and distinguished recording career, sold millions of albums or played stadiums.

You could say they were somewhat of a niche underground act only kept afloat by the unwarranted hype.

I liked the Syd Barrett days.
Unless you smoke loads of dope, the Gilmour years will seem a bit dull.
I can't listen to them anymore now I'm off the drugs.

I liked that one she did with the guy from F.U.N. but don't really care about the rest of her stuff, especially not the god awful Rock Star one
