Grand Theft Auto V: Los Santos

Got this as a late birthday present yesterday. So far am really enjoying it, but am only around 3 hours in. Am still getting used to some of the controls, the controller is definitely at full capacity on this game. I haven't played a GTA since Vice City, the second I got in the first car and the radio station kicked I had a smile on my face. The map seems huge, only just scraped the surface but am beginning to remember a few roads that I use on regular routes.

I'm about 40% through the main storyline and having an absolute hoot! There's great variety to the missions and some of them are just so downright fantastic you just want to immediately replay them. 

I've not yet ventured online as that still seems to be a bowl of dog-sick.

I found one on my first attempt, just head out into deep water - set a marker for the edge of the map and then sail out there. As soon as you see a red dot on the radar, stop and jump in the water.

I was out there for half an hour swimming around next to a boat to see if they'd come... nothing

Nicely done!!! I'm "only" at $50M (each) yet, I've finished the story but have a couple of Lester's missions left, doubt I'll make it that high though

Yeah, me too! I have 2 or 3 left and only about a million per character after the first couple of bank heists. Going to do everything else available before any more hitman stuff!

I'll see how I do after the last couple of missions, if I'm not close to being able to buy most of the properties (I'm looking at you, golf club) then I'll probably restart it!

Took me a few attempts but I've finally managed to steal a jet fighter from the Fort, took some damage but doing a quick save/reload fixed all the damage.

Good job I bought the hangar at the airport to save it in!
