Absolutely bonkers. Went to a performance by an opera singer and a chamber orchestra a few years ago, knowing it wouldn't be my thing (would have been rude to turn down the invitation), but had a great time just watching the chap on the baroque lute.

Some of those left hand stretches are insane.
I often wonder if the likes of Bach ever considered how technically difficult their compositions would be for the performers.
The amount of stamina required to play those pieces is astonishing.
