Sold on eBay: 1989 Gibson ES-175D in natural maple, with case - £2999

This is the ES-175D I posted about a few weeks ago. I'm offering it to Fretboarders for a bit less than the eBay and Reverb pricing, but it's going to be listed with them, too. 

According to the serial number, it was made in 1989, at the Nashville factory. I've owned it since 1991, and it's had a pretty easy life. Never gigged, rarely left the house and (TBH) played fairly infrequently in recent years.

Plays really well, sounds good amplified and it's in pristine condition. The case has some light marks and grazes on the outside. . There's no case candy and never was, IIRC. When I bought it, it had flatwound strings, but I prefer roundwound, so that's what's on it now. 

If you're able to come to Christchurch, Dorset, to collect it, that would be preferred - or we could discuss a mutually convenient meeting point. If it has to be shipped, I'm happy to do so but have no idea how expensive that might be. I might even quote for personal delivery! :-) So the price is just for the guitar and case and not including shipping.

I'm asking for £2999 because I want it to sell, but I'm not looking to negotiate. If anyone has a Musicman Steve Morse or a Valentine that they'd like to trade (plus extra cash my way), I'd be interested in talking about it.

Can I ask about what the D stands for in the ES-175D model number? Are the back and sides of the guitar mahogany?

Thank you. I wish I played it more and didn't have my eye on something else, because it is a really lovely thing. But it spends nearly all its time waiting for me to pick it up! Originally, it was avaiiable just as a one pickup guitar. Gibson added the "D" when they started to offer a two pickup model. The back, sides and neck of this one are indeed mahogany, the top is maple and the fretboard is rosewood.
