Luthier near Stroud / Bristol

Hi,

I need to have the neck pickup, single coil route on my number one guitar - Vigier Ultrablues, routed deeper for a single coil shaped stacked humbucker. 

Plus some wiring to split it etc. 

Angela Arnott in the Forest of Dean is booked up for months. 

Ash Nightingale, Stroud, has cut right back on his guitar work and is yet to confirm if / when he could do it. 

Pre covid I travelled down the M4 a lot more and Julian Mullen, Reading, did some great work for me. But I rarely travel that way any more. 

Are there any recommended luthiers near me I should consider?

That's really peculiar - I took a guitar (admittedly, only nut work and a setup) into Ash a month or so back and it was a really quick turnaround. Email him again?

What are you going to put in there? My Vigier Ultra Blues is my number 1 also, but I hate the neck pick-up.

I use Phil @ Bristol Guitar Tech for my guitar bits and bobbies. Dunno if he has woodworking tools but his standard of work is high and his costs are reasonable

I'm still seeing is Ash will do it as I know him.  Else I might potentially take it to Julian Mullen in Reading as again I know him....I'm travelling to and from London at least once a fortnight now...

I actually love the neck pickup, but miss the humbucker there.  I got (after a year's wait) a Dimarzio DP188 without the flange.  So hopefully I can either split it or wire it in parallel to have single coil like tones using a push push pot.
