I have owned many American-built G&L guitars over the years, and consider them excellent instruments, beautifully finished - and extremely toneful.  This is a maple necked, swamp ash bodied Clear Orange Asat Classic from around 2006, with Joe Barden pickups.  These pickups were (I was told by the previous owner), factory fitted.  JBs are exquisitely made, clear, quiet, and (as you all know) cost at least £300 to retrofit to T-type guitars.

G&L Asat guitars are usually fitted with barrel type jack sockets which invariably fail after some time.  In recognition of this, I had the original item replaced with a proper nickel finished metal Les Paul-type plate and socket; the work was done by Charlie Chandler at CCGX.
This Asat is a lovely example in this stunning Gretsch-like orange, which shows all the fab figuring of the swamp ash body.  The neck is a C profile, 9,5" radius; super comfy, and the 6 saddle bridge means there are no tuning or intonation compromises. The guitar will come in a G&L moulded case (not pictured here).  PP F+F please; collection in central London possible.  Finally - if you're considering a US Fender Telecaster purchase, and have not included a US-built G&L Asat in the equation, now's your chance.
