PSA: Cheap Randall?

Spotted this in Cash Converters earlier...

I know they're not everybody's favourite, but a 50W Randall valve amp for £150 seems pretty good to me.

It does seem cheap, but ebay completed listings shows 2 that have sold for just over £200, with a 4 x 12 included!

I did wonder. Haven't seen any for ages, but the last one I saw (on MR) was up for sale for about a year.

It a what might have been amp! There are some brilliant features on it like the boost functions and two overdrive channels. Unfortunately the 5 gain stages make it a muddy mire, it could have been a great amp. That said the clean channel works pretty well as a plexi once its wound up. I think Randall could have cleaned up with that amp had the amp had less gain stages. Shame really.
