Kitchens of distinction guitar wash?

How to get this sound? Always wondered. Obviously delay, but what else and how is it set? In a world of boring guitar sounds,,  it's weird that nobody really ripped this off!

Not sure of his exact chain, but it was fairly regular shoegaze, as I recall...rack reverb and delay (Quadraverb, AMS delay/chorus) and a bunch of Boss stuff...chorus, flange, drive, more delay.  There's a snippet from a magazine interview with Julian here which has a little more detail.  Great band!

Just checking in: I was a big fan...saw them live once at the Adelphi in Hull...stupidly small crowd as I remember!

I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many times I've seen Kitchens live.. As beautiful as their albums are they suffer in comparison to how they perform live, which is a good thing I guess.
