SOLD - PRS Soapbar SE

PRS SE Soapbar P90. Really nice PRS, the finish is a dark translucent black which is really beautiful in different lights. This guitar sounds fantastic. It is also light at 6lbs 8oz. Some small dings that I have tried to picture but as the black acts as a mirror it is difficult to capture with pictures. Also comes with the highly regarded PRS gig bag! Don’t normally comment on “for sale” posts, but, I have one of these. Seller is right about the finish, you can just barely make out the grain through the black and under certain lights mine takes on a hint of purple which I assume is the result of the mahogany variant it’s made out of showing through - subtle, possibly not deliberate, but fabulous. 

Also a really, really nice guitar to play, sounds great, and you’d have to offer rather more than that to get mine out of my hands… :-)

Have you got any dims on the neck? Width and depth at the 1st and 12th would be good.

Width at nut 43mm
Width at 12th 53mm
Depth at nut about 21mm
Depth at 12th about 24mm
I struggled measuring the depth so don't trust that 100%. It is a chunky neck.

How are the pickups in these? Always thought it would be a v safe entry into P90 rock or even jazz.

They are similar to the hotter pickups in my telecaster but keep clarity when you roll off the volume.

I have a boring opaque white one. I got a good deal on it because the point on the headstock was damaged. The neck is chunky - more so than the SE One.

The stock pickups are generic MIK offerings of approximately 8 and 9k DC resistance, respectively. I chose to upgrade my guitar with American pickups, pots, selector switch and jack socket. Consequently, my SE Soapbar embarrasses some name brand guitars.
