edited March 2023 in Guitars £
Schecter diamond series Nick Johnston traditional in Atomic Snow finish.

Excellent spec super strat with a fast, flat radius neck. A great choice for anyone looking for a vintage vibe with modern feel.

Has been gigged so a couple of minor cosmetic marks (shown in pictures, doesn't affect playing), but overall great condition.

£500

 Pickup from LE16 area.

Ask me again if it's still here in a couple of weeks.

It's at the absolute worst price point for posting as most couriers don't actually cover guitars regardless of if you pay extra, and the ones that do would probably cost almost 20% of the value of the instrument. Up to £300ish I'm happy to take a chance, and £800+ it becomes a worthwhile expense for the extra peace of mind...but £500 sits annoyingly in that middle ground unfortunately.

    Thank you!

The Friedman is currently up for grabs in the F/S section until I either come to my senses or find a few grand down the side of the sofa.

Try eBay @Evo. Mine sold within hours of listing it. Offered a postage though. Good luck with the sale.

I’ve got a few things trying to sell at the moment and they just aren’t shifting.

I might have to bite the bullet and wait for a decent listing fees offer.

There was an 80% FVF discount on eBay over the weekend. That works out to 2% FVF and is the best you'll generally see now I think

I'm amazed this is still here when people are falling over themselves for the SE SS. It's an absolute (stainless) steal

I actually tried my first silver sky SE a few months ago, nothing wrong with them at all.

But I'd still buy one of these even if the SS were half the price.

Each to their own I guess.

I had mine listed at £575 with 80% fees waiver as mentioned by @roberty. The fees were only 15 quid, buyer paid with card. Another 20 quid for next day shipping which I included in BIN price. So ended up cashing in £540. Not bad compared to the guitar hanging on marketplace for ages at £525, nothing else but constant tyre kickers and their low ball offers.

I remember offering you 500 for yours when I was after one in October last year ;)

I have a SS SE and a Schecter Jack Fowler now

The Schecter definitely feels more modern, and seems a bit more upmarket, it's hard to describe. You can definitely go faster on it if that's your thing

The SS SE has a vintage playing feel, and seems a bit more utilitarian, possibly due to the scarfed on headstock. This doesn't affect it in any practical way but it does seem more to a budget

Both are fantastic guitars, the Schecter is better value at this price imo
