The Boomtown Rats were a very good band and Garry Roberts guitar work was a major part of their sound.

No way.   Didn’t know anything about this until I read the forum.  

Quite saddened by this…. I loved the Rats as a kid… seeing them on TOTP doing She’s So Modern was quite the thing in ‘78.
