Restoring & Rebuilding a gutted and defaced 2001 Gibson Les Paul Standard

Not sure if these goes here or under "plug my stuff" but I made a video about this Les Paul project I'm working on at the moment:



I thought you would be interested. A bit of background, I found this project Lester on eBay for a RIDICULOUS price and had to take a punt on it, it came with no pickups, no pots and only some of the hardware but crucially the neck is fine and other than the "creative decisions" the previous owner made, it's actually in really good nick for its age with a straight and solid neck and very little fret wear.

The above video is part one of two and in it I assess the guitar and go through restoring the top.

Part two will be up in a few weeks (I'm waiting for a Monty's 50s loom that's on a 3-4 week lead time) and in it I'm going to fix the back, reinstall everything, set the guitar up and play it.
