1998 Fender American Standard Telecaster - Natural Ash

I've owned this since about 2004.

Body is in great condition, a few small dings near the jack socket and a small area of slightly opaque finish at the corner of the neck pocket. Electrosocket jack plate added. all original hardware and pickups. 

The finish on '90s Fender necks is notorious for flaking away. The neck has been stripped, re-fretted and refinished in tinted matte nitro. The refinish is not the best ever, but looks a heck of a lot better than the old peeling finish. The re-fret is good and there is no fret wear. The original logo and serial number were preserved under the new finish. The nitro is perhaps a little too dark amber, but does match fairly well the colour of the old flaking finish. There are one or two slight marks, see photos.

Asking £700. Collection from Salisbury, Wiltshire preferred. 10 mins walk from train station.
