Absolutely no chance of that. 

The goal will be to keep it as a very big property, but release it first with more features on XBox, Windows Phone and Win9

DLC will be MS-platform-exclusive for a good chunk of time (as they already do with COD and will be doing with the new Tomb Raider) but they won't cut off half the user base.

I doubt non M$ platforms will notice much difference, it sounded like an 'if we buy it no one else can' type purchase.

They own Skype and still have it on other systems

I hope they don't ruin it. It's pretty close to being open source and that's not their style... It's all the mods and skin packs that make it so good. Here's hoping.
