Hi all, a random one, do you think there could be any issues pursuing something like this? Here's the cheapest template I found so far. I would use a 2xP90 config for example, and not a tele one as per this ebay one:

Maybe a DC Junior style body would be more aesthetically pleasing (Rosser guitars for example)

This one looks to be the closest to what I was thinking of, but not sure if it would allow for a half tele string through bridge

it will work, and you can use whatever bridge you choose as long as you design the neck angle around it.

expect some neck heaviness if going for the usual thin SG body with most of the neck hanging off the main outline. 

 If you want to reduce this, make the body heavier(thicker), or move the neck a  couple of frets into the body and relocate the bridge and pickups as needed
