The article that @roberty linked is all about that. Classic Sound on Sound article. I have a vague memory that there is a blue historic sign thingy on the house in Leamington Spa where it was recorded. 
Having played Ghost Town in a band there was no lead guitar part to learn as,IIRC, Roddy was too pissed to play anything on the record. 

The bassline is great, especially the intro over the diminished, rising chords. Horace Panter is a hero and A bloody nice chap (met him a few years ago in Coventry at a family do/gig). His book is also a good read, 'Ska'd for life'.

Heard this at work today from a colleague who is a huge Specials fan. Shocked - only 63, barely much older than me really.

Such a huge talent and an iconic voice.

I was lucky enough to visit Terry Hall for a couple of hours one on one in the course of my business. All of the good things written about him today are entirely in accord with my brief experience. A lovely, kind and modest man, generous with his time and hospitality to an interested enthusiast of good music, who he had never met before.
A very sad day.

I saw this and it's very sad to have seen that he'd suffered.

Just spotted this self portrait on FB.  Seemed a really honest, genuine chap who battled depression issues and probably a little scallywag as a kid before finding the right group of people to be mates with.

Whilst we are reviving random Tributes:

This coming Tuesday would have been Terry's birthday. 

A week tomorrow This Town starts which is the 2 Tone sort of themed TV series starts on the BBC. IIRC the closing credits each week will feature a cover of a 2 Tone song by a current artist.

And sandwiched in-between this coming Friday BBC4 has an evening of Terry, The Specials, 2Tone, ska.

Ahh. Sorry I could have expressed that better. 
Terry died on my birthday and was a bit of a hero of mine so I've thought of him many, many times in the last 15 months.
