Different artist on B side?

This follows on from a comment I made about Gangsters by The Specials that when it was originally released as a 7” single the B side was by a different artist. I presume this must have happened at other times, especially in the punk and indie eras. The only other example I can find is Mogwai and Magoo sharing a single for Black Sabbath covers. 

Anybody know of any?

Split CDs happen(ed) too. I had one that was Lymbyc Systym and This Will Destroy You, and one that was the rather odd combination of Rosetta and Restorations.

The Valiants, from a quick Google, a sort of alter ego for Fleetwood Mac. That quite a famous song for this, ta. 

I had also thought of another oldie where the B side was the A side artists but given a different credit. Napoleon XIV on the B side of They’re Coming To Take Me Away are credited as VIX noelopan (yes, it’s the A side played backwards).

My step brother had a madonna single that had a black n blue song for a b side

I remember as a teenager I bought the cd single of Marilyn Manson's cover of Tainted Love which was from some crappy film, and it listed the B Side as a track by Muse. It definitely was not a Muse track, it was a cover of whatever the song is where the chorus is "I'll stop the world and melt with you, I've seen the difference and it's getting better all the time", I've no idea who it was but it was a good cover of that song. 

That's the only one I can think of that I've bought

I have a mis-pressed 7 inch single of the Manic’s Roses in the Hospital, with an Iron Maiden tune on the flip side. 

I guess it wasn’t intentional though.

The Jesus Lizard/Nirvana 'Puss"/"Oh, The Guilt" 7“. Notably, Nirvana are on the B-side despite this coming out in 1993. I have it on blue vinyl.

When The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go" was re-released in the early 90s, it was with Big Audio Dynamite's "Rush" on the other side (see Discogs entry). Associated artists, obviously.
