WTB - 1980s ESP guitar - Sorted

Hi there,

I hope everyone is having a great holidays. I’m looking for a 1980s style ESP guitar with a bolt-on 22 fret neck and a Floy Rose. Ideally I would like to find a Kamikaze or a Strat type ESP with a Floyd Rose. 

Mindful that there aren’t too many out there, but trying my luck in case there are any up for sale. 

I relocated to Spain a few years ago, so unfortunately I can no longer arrange for collection in person or domestic shipping. Hope this is not an issue. Happy to use PayPal, Wise or bank transfer as payment methods (also happy to consider other payment methods I might not be aware of).

Many thanks @Catalyst77 beautiful axe!! Is the Sinclair/Synclear recessed or top mounted? If the latter I could be interested. Whilst they are good terms, I much prefer a Floyd. Cheers

Hi

I'll see if I can answer all the questions above in one go.

Its an ESP Mirage Deluxe, I'm not sure of the exact year of manufacture but from the below link it must be somewhere between 87-91

The Floyd goes up and down although its currently set flush.

Is printed on the neck plate, but I have no idea what it means.

Currently has a Nailbomb and an Irish Tour in it, but I do have the original Pickups.

This particular guitar used to be Purple Sunburst - which was mainly purple with a bit of yellow in the middle.  I had it redone in the current colour via Feline Guitars about 10 years ago.  Most of the grain was covered up with the original finish; def looks much better now.

Fingerboard is pretty flat probably somewhere towards the higher end of 12-15.

TBH I know very little about the guitar and can't seem to find much on the web about it.  All the mirages i come across all seem to be LTDs

I have an ash 87 snapper with emgs and wilkinson bridge and locking tuners. More of a Tyler- Anderson- valley arts session vibe vs a shredder. 

Wanted a good value guitar from 87 but not sure I fully agree with the neck shape. 



Got £1K in it and have an economical way to ship to EU if interested.
