WTB: First strat NOW SORTED

Looking for my first electric guitar.  Ive been playing acoustic for a couple of months and want to try out a strat as my first electric.  Something like a player series would be ideal.  Alternatively, something that is a nice feeling, easy to play guitar.  budget about 400 quid -let me know what you've got.

Someone here will probably have something fabulous to offer. From the shops there are a few things that stand out at the mo. 

The first is the Squier 40th anniversary guitars. Like this one, there are brighter colours too.

I’ve played a few of the 40th basses and the quality is really good. Very well put together and the satin finishes feel superb in the hand. Genuinely good guitars that seem to be exactly the kind of blue collar working tool that Fenders should be. 

The other one is over your budget at £599 but budgets to tend to be elastic at times …. The PRS SE Silver Sky. Another great Strat that’s feels like there’s nothing missing, with a really gorgeous feeling neck.

Well, I may have gone over bugdet a bit.  I have ordered a 2016 MIJ 1960s reissue with upgraded electronics and pickups.
