I think for some stuff (DVDs, CDs, Books) Ebay have fixed postage rates, rather than letting you set the rate.

I say old bean how long have those dastardly eBay types been able to dictate the carriage and postage prices?

If there is simply no accommodation to be reached the I may have to up my asking price by 5 UK (ie a north Sea Diver) pounds and offer free postage and packaging instead.
