Dub Side of the Moon didn't do much for me (not that familiar with the original), but Radiodread was fantastic.

  • Oooh. Looking forward to this. Like you I loved Radiodread but didn't care for the Floyd one.

Also worth mentioning is the Little Roy "Battle For Seattle" LP which is all Nirvana covers.

Mind you, I'm writing this whilst listening to the Starman cover and I'm not that impressed. Hope the rest is better tbh.

Somebody should do Reggae cover versions of Ramones songs.

  • Ah nice, I saw them a couple of times around the time they brought out the Sgt Peppers album, great live. Radiodread takes some beating!

    Good track that Moonage Daydream.

Lifeson's guitar is rather good on it - reminds me a lot of one of the Hotel California solos for some reason.

I was thinking the exact opposite. Points up how wonderful Ronson's original was.

I’m with you , I really liked the song and was looking forward to a powerful, echo drenched solo from AL and was disappointed . It sounded like me widdling over the record (something I do regularly )
