Epiphone Casino - Price reduction £350 + shipping

The time has come to thin the herd as they say.  I’m looking to revamp my little home studio and my proposed layout tells me that three guitars (plus an amp) need to go in order to make space and provide funds (and really I need to be seen to be shifting some stuff in order to pacify Mrs Wolf).

The three up for sale are as follows. One left

Fender Baja Telecaster.  Gone to a loving home  You all know the specs.  I’ve had this from new (c2018) and it comes with the standard issue gig bag.  I have replaced the saddles with compensated ones but I have the originals somewhere if you are bothered.  There looks to be some minor fret wear (I say minor because you should see the guitars that I actually play).  It’s never been dressed so plenty of meat on the frets.  No significant marks that I can see (another sign that I haven’t been gigging this one).  Good meaty neck and a guitar that should be played a lot more than it is.  £450 collection from St Helens, Merseyside.  I am prepared to ship for additional cost (I’m not sure what shipping costs these days), I have a box.

Second is an Epiphone Casino.  Chinese build, I’ve had it from new in 2010.  It originally shipped with a Bigsby (see photo of screw hole) and I’ve converted it back to hard tale.  Please note that the tail piece isn’t an original Epiphone part.  I still have the Bigsby if you are bothered – or you could leave it as it is and have it play in tune.  Not much fret wear despite this being a gigging guitar at one time.  No significant marks and this one comes with a Thomann hard case which was bought with the guitar.  I’ve had some fun with this over the years and it’s has been a great recording guitar but now it finds itself sitting behind my PRS hollow body.  I’m going to say £400 £350 collected but again I’m happy to talk shipping (I think that I have a box big enough to take the guitar in its case?).

Last one up is an Ozark Resonator.  Withdrawn I’m pretty sure that it’s a 3515BE (made in Korea) and again I’ve had it from new (2010, I think).  It doesn’t have a pickup, I have recorded with it but it hasn’t been played for a while now so it needs to go.  It looks as though the brass on the front (the circular bit, I don’t know what it’s called) is wearing a bit.  I’ve tried to photograph it but it doesn’t show up too well (If anyone knows have to photograph a mirror finish guitar without appearing in shot then please let me know.  I had to put clothes on for my second attempt).  I have a Stagg case which will fit (it was bought for another acoustic guitar) but I’m less certain about shipping this one as it’s big and weighs a bloody tonne*.  I’m going to say £400 collected but be prepared that shipping might be more expensive than average on this.  Inlay of a pineapple on the headstock - what's not to like?

The fretboard hasn't worn (just my poor photography).  I weighed the Baja at 8.5lbs on my kitchen scales.  No idea how accurate that is but it does feel like a hefty beast, so probably in the right ballpark.

Baja packed up and ready to be shipped to begin a new life in Yorkshire.  Ozark withdrawn as studio reorganisation has left me with room for it after all.

    Casino still up for grabs
