A lovely guitar, two months out of Peach and plays beautifully. I’m not massively enjoying the pickups because I’m not really a HB bod and I’ve got a few ideas lined up to replace them with with something sharp, gritty and single coil. 

I also have been tempted by something fairly oddball and I can’t have ALL the toys. Apparently.

I haven’t photographed it properly but I have this arrival shot and it genuinely is that rare thing….. absolutely mint. The cheapest price on these right now is £1199. £800 including postage takes this one.

Not sure whether to call you most wise or a smart arse

 It’s still got the stock pickups and what I’ve learnt, which is no surprise, is that I have expensive taste in pickups. If no one takes it I’ll get them swapped but the alternative is to sell this and get something with pickups I’ll enjoy already in place.

Funnily enough I’ve been toying with putting Filter’trons into my one of these too (or Starlas, assuming I could find some). I actually like the stock pickups, but have a lot of twin HB guitars right now!

GLWTS, I really think these are one of the best guitars I’ve ever played - superb all-rounders, and great value too.

Dominic has got me pegged totally there. Love the guitar but I was never going to get excited by some quite vanilla HBs. 

It would be spectacular with some glorious old
school P90s or some 50s repro gold foils. 

BUT…. For this price I could by a very stupid hand built guitar that has a pair of Mojo pickups in that I’d spend £250 odd to buy
