I have just bought a tascam dp-008 home recorder, can anyone recomend an ideal speaker(s) for external use, thanks in advance.

I have a pair of not too big Presonus Eris e3.5s which are nice and clear and plenty loud with enough bass.

I use them with bigger Tascam DP32SD
