Could I... Use my bandit as a cab to test the head? I can unplug the speaker cable iirc, I can't remember how long it is though...

No reason why not. They do sound best with the Jet City cabs and speakers, although they're by no means shit with anything else.

I run mine through a deep bodied 2x12 with Celestion Classic Lead 80s in it, it's absolutely thunderous compared to the only Jet City cab I've tried.

I like it with eminence v12s (which I suspect the jet city speakers are a cheaper copy of). I didn't give the jet city speakers much of a chance to break in (I already had the v12s and was impatient to get them loaded into the cab ) ), but even out of the box the v12s, to me, sounded a fair bit better.

Not tried mine through any Jet City cabs but it sounds great through both my Harley Benton 2x12 with V30s and my 1x12 with a greenback.

I can keep it clean alongside a noisy drummer but I much prefer a bit of grit in my clean sound and this, for me, is where the JetCity excels.  The OD channel gets very little use - not because it's no good but because the crunch channel has more than enough dirt for me.

For the price on Thomann I'm actually tempted just to get the updated front panel.

Damn, why everything goes for so cheap when I'm so skint! Price is silly and I'll snap it if it's still there in couple days. But I doubt it will.
@digitalscream - any info on those new JCA20Hv being back in stock? - I contacted them twice over last couple months and didn't get any response. Your our "man inside"
