Fantastic guitar.  Let me check behind the sofa...

    GLWTS.

    * EDIT - did the Bicentennials all come with dot inlays and unbound necks?

I’ve only seen them with this spec. There are some differences after the bicentennials but I don’t remember seeing a bound neck.

Mine's a dot unbound neck. I think the only difference that some of them have is the Bill Lawrence designed sidewinder bridge pickup, which is different to the neck pickup.

Surprised to see other Bicentennial owners on the forum given that they are relatively rare. I think I read that the Bill Lawrence sidewinder bridge pickup design was intended to give more treble/bite.

I'm only surprised that HarrySeven is not the owner of all the other examples.

Yes - dot inlay and unbound. Mine is the same. Albeit the pervious owner back in '79 had routed it for humbuckers
