Through zero flanging!

So I've just picked up a Mr Black Tunnelworm from Joe's Pedals.

This thing is something else.

Loving the way it does that studio type flanging effect as you usually have to use tape to get anywhere near this sound. So think I now have three very different flangers and all of them have something special going on.

These things are something else though.

Does anyone else make similar units? This is the first one I have found and I am very impressed with it so far. In fact all the Mr Black pedals are starting to look like I should try them out now...

Mr Black makes brilliant pedals. The Gilamondo looks awesome.
The downwardspiral was a good fun pedal too. The eterna is very popular too

The line 6 flanger stomp thingy seems to have the most flanges in a box of all and its only £25
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

I thought PMT was cheap until I saw the Liqua Flange at Dolphin! It's £19!! I had to buy it! Looks like they still have more of them. £23.99 shipped!

Yeah, most of the ToneCore range got crazy blowout price cuts, looks like Yamaha are clearing house before they bring any fresh Line 6 product through. Some utter bargains to be had!

Yep, I recon the base is cast from depleted uranium! I have a couple of tone core pedals, in fact I quite fancy a "roto-machine" but they seemed to go a while back.

  • A few of the tone cores are available too… nice way of having a super flexible pedal for pennies!

Mine arrived 2 days ago, lots of wobbly fun to be had. Shame ice only had the total of about half an hour on it but it seems really good. Very pleased.

  • I certainly wouldn't have paid full whack for it Yes the pedal bit is built of mountains but the tonecore bit is flimsy as hell,,,

  • What's the sound like? And do they trash your clean signal?

    They are bargainous right now...
