The best way to listen to this album - The stereo version was so unfocused with everything panned all over the place; the mono mix sounds much more solid and cohesive.

Same with Revolver. Mono LP is far superior to the stereo mix.

The new stereo mix of Revolver is better than both the originals tho imo

Back in the day, the mono mix got full attention. The stereo version was very much an afterthought.

Oo I haven't heard Revolver in mono before, I'll check it out. Now if only the mono mixes for electric ladyland were more readily available. I know it was mixed in stereo but apparently there are a few mono mixdowns floating about.

The new Revolver mix is derived from AI stems .... I don't know how I feel about that. The mono mix is solid and very well done.
