This is one of my favourite songs of all time and what a wonderful guitar part, beautifully demonstrated by this fine chap (now 81) who played on it.



As part of the Wrecking Crew, he played on some fantastic stuff but is probably best remembered for the solo on Lionel Richie's 'Hello'

Great player.  Playing a Tele there but I believe his main squeeze(s) in recent years have been Gibson 339s (he seems to have had several).  Unless he's changed again very recently.
