Thanks for that. Sorry, I didn’t notice it was no longer in stock at Protone. One of those annoying websites that includes sold stock in its listings.

When you say Jordan has ‘very fair prices’, out of interest who are you comparing him with, ATB?!

Not particularly high for a vat registered home business, but generally £1,000-£3,000 higher than when a guitar was on ebay the week before :-)

Well, I would say that he has ready cash to buy and that's king. It's his business so I don't think making a profit is untoward. I think it's a lovely thing to do if you can do it and his feedback is excellent/perfect. He has a Catalina blue CS strat for sale at £2500 for instance, which I think is a great price.

It’s £2,590 but more importantly it’s an NOS finish and they are not as sought after as Relics (whether people like that or not, it’s a fact) and they go for considerably less money than Relics. It’s also in a very unusual colour that will not be on many people’s shopping lists, which also makes it harder to sell, and it has a wrong serial numbered COA. He will have taken all of that into account in his pricing which is why it’s one of his cheapest CS guitars. We’ve had some NOS CS guitars up for sale on here in mainstream desirable colours at that kind of price or less, and they’ve lingered for a long while. I’ve never dealt with him so I can’t deny that his service and feedback are excellent - some might say that at those prices it flippin’ needs to be (pun intended).

Edit: here’s a used CS NOS Strat at Coda, in a more ‘normal’ colour and with the right COA, for £2,499.
