Nano muff mods

I've been enjoying messing about with the diode switching after modding my soul food last week, so i thought i'de have a look at modding my ehx nano muff.
Anyways, found a cheeky little mod that basically adds a gain knob into the pedal which looks easy enough so i'll do that, but also the clipping diodes are again a pair of 1n4148's - so any suggestions of what would go in to make them switchable - what would have the best affect on the sound - Si or Ge's?
Theres also a few caps inside which i could make switchable too but will it be in input or output caps that have the greater effect on sound?

Is this the Nano Muff OD or the Nano sized big muff? I have a nano muff OD that would be interesting if people could mod it to be better...I'll watch carefully

I'm so aware of my life, that I'd forgotten I actually flogged mine a few weeks back. D'oh.
