Purchased new about 4 months ago, love the colour, relicing and it has my favourite Fender neck. Low easy action plays great, It has a Fasttrack single coil humbucker in the bridge (original pickup included and wiring is unchanged) and therein lies the problem, I just prefer HSS to SSS. This 1956 Relic Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop mixes period accurate design and tone with some of the more modern features that people are used to on more recent strats.

Available in this Heavy relic finish you would have thought it has been on stage every day since

1956. This limited-run Strat seamlessly combines the best aspects of a vintage instrument and a modern one. It's essentially an upgraded '50s Strat that's a lot more reliable (and affordable). It's a great solution if you love vintage Fenders and need a rock-solid workhorse that you can count on to sound incredible at your gig, session or at home.
