Passive Piezo Pickups and a Behringer ADI21?

I'm thinking of fitting either the JourneyTek Passive 3-piezo or the JJB Prestige 330 to my Taylor GT and although they say it isn't necessary to have a preamp but to help with the signal robustness I'm considering using a Behringer ADI21 (Acoustic Amp Modeler/Direct Recording Preamp/DI Box). 

Should this work OK? Or are there better chuffordable (cheap) options?
