Fishing for comments 2

Here's a few tunes we recorded over a couple days last month. Not perfect but they get across the idea of the tunes, I'm pretty critical of everything we do so there's things I'd change but happy with them overall.

Any comments-positive or negative appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to listen:

Quite liked it, reminded me of The Jam, New Order and The Cure...

hi mate, good stuff. some cool spikey guitars in there. Yeah, I see the nod to Joy Division, and the Jam, and I'd add in Wire, Television too.

Mannequin is ace, really like that,
    Followed you too.

    nice one.

no prob mate, the feedback on here for recording is so low, I'll always try and do my bit, as I appreciate feedback on my stuff too.

on your music, whilst I say there's nods, I wouldn't say its overly derivative, by which I mean, good!

Definitely a big Joy Division vibe going on here. It's a rough production.. but I think this makes it much more fun to listen to. If John Peel were still alive he'd be your number one fan.

    I really enjoyed it  :)

Again thanks for the comments, appreciate you taking the time.

@Snap I know what you mean, I try to listen and pitch in with a few comments but niot as much as I should-people want to get their music out there I guess...should be a 'listeners' site for people to go to!

Just put the first one on, rightly or wrongly the Banshees came to mind. Interesting area to be working in with the goth/ new wave influences.

Like. Reminds me a tad of skeletal family.

Cheers for listening and commenting, have to admit I had to google the Banshees and Skeletal Family to listen to them to see where you're coming from! I can see the similarity in the bass lines. There is definitely a new wave influence to these songs and the recording.

    Thanks again
