54mm Strat saddles…

…but in gold, because I’m flash, innit.

I want to change my Mary Kaye strat to more modern string spacing, because I keep pulling the E strings off the edges - courtesy of playing too many Gibsons - but the usual suspects for decent saddles (Callahan/Highwood) only seem to do nickel unless I want vintage spacing. Anyone know where I could pick some decent (non-eBay-special) 54mm gold saddles up?

You'll need a matching narrow-spaced bridge too of course otherwise the saddles will just have gaps between them.

Fender used to make a tremolo with wide fixing, narrow saddles and you might be able to find one.

Thanks - yes I’ve got in mind a vintage/modern Wudtone bridge (I have one of his blocks already and am a big fan), but sadly no gold saddles available. I could get a Mexican fender bridge and take the saddles off, just seems a bit of a waste. Or I could just get some nickel saddles, and lean into the mis-matched look…
