Beato - Stone Temple Pilots

What's Hot
Yet another Beato thread; but his hour long interview with Robert De Leo, bassist of Stone Temple Pilots, is well worth watching if you like the band, real insights into songs and the band. It has to be something very good for me to sit through and watch an hour long interview without interruption. He shows how his various influences' such as Rush, latin, jazz, blues, helped him come up with those riffs and chords on Core and Purple.

In terms of musicality, there were by far the best band of the era. Great students and players. Worth digging out a few shows on YouTube. Sour Girl and Atlanta were always two of my favs.

His bass lines in STP etc were and have always been great. Under appreciated!

Was really impressed by his musicianship. Extremely well rounded. You can tell he plays for the love of it. Comes across very genuine too. Beato is smashing it with these long form interviews. Superb
