First time I've drawn in 20+ years. I might try to do some more as I have new pens!

Honestly @johnnyurq, that's the first thing I've drawn since I left school! I used to draw every day but then I bought a guitar and stopped with the art.
I did a couple of gig posters right enough, but still 20 odd years ago.

I've really surprised myself tonight! That took me about an hour and a half and I had no idea what I was going to draw when I put the paper down. I saw a news item about new Twin Peaks being made so went with a zeitgeist piece!

My mate is a prolific artist and is doing the #inktober challenger so I thought I'd buy some nice pens and give it a go.

I used to do a lot of drawing myself, why do we give up on things like that?  I was much better at drawing than I'll ever be at playing guitar.

Not sure how I feel about Twin Peaks returning.  On the whole I think it might be better to just let it lie.  Which is contradicting what I just said about the drawing... but they're two different things.

I loved the original run but I've forgotten a lot about it over the 24 years since. Not sure I want to watch it all again?

I was never a creative artist, I was always better at copying things rather than letting my mind wander.

Well that makes it even more remarkable then and suggests you have some natural talent.

When I was working at ECT and we had comic shizzle going on from what I saw back then I would place yours at least the equal of most and better than a fair few. Those guys and gals were pro/semi pro though and did not much else.

It's quite appropriate that a thread about Twin Peaks returning has very little to do with Twin Peaks! I was last in a band about 20 years ago and we were Twin Peaks devotees. In fact the band was named after one of the actresses...

Nice drawing @DiscoStu especially after such a long lay off.

I was the same as you as a kid,always drawing.I wasn't too good with a brush but pretty good with a pencil.Don't seem to have the time or the will to do it anymore.Its a shame really because given that I'm pants on guitar drawing is probably my one and only natural talent.

They'll have to do more than just bring back the original cast, unless it's going to be set in a retirement home.  With the occasional séance thrown in.
