EHX seems to have a few pedals which sound like/are based on their micro/POG.

  • Well, I want that like a fat man wants E45 rubbing into their thighs

  • That sounds superb.

    Any indication on price?
The Internet seems to hint at $130.... I'd guess on £80-90 UK

Basically a Boos Harmonist with polyphony…

    Basically everything I want. Now.

The dual switch is a great idea.

Well that's a done deal. Just when I was wondering if I could ditch my M9 and get a delay, chorus and Whammy. This is far better - POG type options and exp pedal I already have gives the Whammy-ness.

    How much?

Harmony Central cites a 'list price' of $174.66, which I'm not sure what to make of.

  • Looks interesting. And I've already got a compatible expression pedal (the same M-audio one in the vid...)....

  • Sounds great, but my concern would be the tracking. It's hard to tell from a video (because it can be manipulated and mistakes can be made), but it definitely looked to me like the tracking was off in places.

    Just read the instruction manual

Apparently when in momentary mode, pressing the switch does an auto-gliss up/down to whatever it's set to (in 60ms by default, or between 4ms and 2s if exp pedal is plugged in,  and you can manually change that 60ms default). So you can do Morello whammy-up/down noises or U2's "Even Better Than the Real Thing" intro without even needing an exp pedal.

"MOMENTARY MODE - the Expression/CV input controls glissando rate for
the Pitch Fork’s footswitch. When the bypass footswitch is pressed, the Pitch
Fork jumps from bypass to the pitch shift interval set by the SHIFT knob.
The amount of time it takes to reach the SHIFT knob’s interval setting is the
glissando rate. When the footswitch is released, pitch will return to unity by
the same rate. When your expression pedal is heel-down the rate is 4ms, in
toe-down the rate is 2sec. When no device is plugged into the EXP input the
    default glissando rate is 60ms."

AND it only needs 30mA, 9V DC

    I'm definitely buying one :D

Wait, 30ma?! That's crazy! How did they do that, I was assuming it would be digital and need it's own weird and wonderful ehx supply!

That's what it says. God knows how but I'm impressed.

Just thinking on the gliss thing. I'd stil use an exp pedal with it, but you could set up a "rate" box to switch between fast and slow with a couple of 10k pots and a switch to toggle between them. That would be easy and fun :)

I had some sense that he was being careful in what he played and that might mean tracking issues with faster/ sloppier playing. Definitely some odd overtones in places and I can't say I was listening all that hard.
