Marauder Sold on EBay - 1975 Gibson S-1 or 1977 Gibson Marauder

I’ve sold off some amps ahead of the move and I need to sell a guitar and possibly an acoustic too. 

The axe has fallen on my back up Marauder , formerly owned by the lovely @St_Hubbins and lived a fair old rock and roll life before that I’d say. There are numerous small dings and quirks but it plays and sounds superb with the original Bill Lawrence pickups in situ.

Its one of the rarer deep wine red ones and comes with the original white guard as well as the replacement tortoiseshell one that’s on there now (which looks way better to me)

If you’ve never played one , imagine a Tele custom with Gibson scale length - quirky like a Fano with a biting bridge pu (stacked HB afaik) and a nice warm jazzy full sized neck HB.

Doesn’t come with the case (as I’m keeping it for my other one) but will ship in the case and you can send it back if that works for anyone ?

I’m also  to drive out to Bath, Exeter Salisbury or Winchester if that helps (or you can come and try it out at a Cornelius Towers)

Now up for a ridiculous £800 which for a 45 year old versatile Gibson is pretty good I reckon

I would so love that! Free time at the mo is getting 5 minutes between jobs to catch breath. If I can find a way to go awol, I’ll grab the chance. Hopefully, someone will bite your hand off before I get anywhere near, that’s a cracking deal.
