High Wycombe Jam 2023

I'm interested and open to playing guitar or bass.

I can't confirm for definite until I know when it is, especially as things seem to be picking up for the band I'm in again.

It's a bit of a trek from Exmouth, but I can combine it with a visit and stay with my daughters who are reasonably local.

Saturdays usually good for me, might have a weeks holiday in Sept though, and I have to do the university run one day in Sept too

Added mine but, at the moment, I can be flexible and can do any dates in the list apart from 23rd Sept or the 7th Oct.

Bear in mind that the 7th Oct clashes with the currently proposed date for the Bristol jam.

Do we need to start discussing songs and roles?

I think both looking at the comments. Maybe book 2 rooms at a studio or jam in the morning and gear fest in the afternoon?

Perhaps 3 rooms in a rehearsal studio?
1 for jamming/playing from set list and 2 for gearfest hanging out.
 
We could even have a buy/sell trade corner.

Would probably bring DrZ Maz 18+ 2 2x10, Marshall 2061X JMP 20w + marshall 2x12, and Boogie Mini Rectifier + 2 1x12.  Maybe Henriksen Bud (jazz) if there's interest.

First 3 or 4 guitars in cases I pick up as I leave

I think the only studio here is West Star.... which is OK, but not brilliant.

Unless there's another I'm not aware of...?

Only other one I use is Green Room Studios in Witney, which are absolutely awesome.... but a long way from Wycombe!

Wycombe Arts Centre could be a possible venue. Never been there myself, anyone else know what it's like?
