I like the wear on this. Natural relicing.
I don’t know much about these, more of a Fender guy.

Are they cleanish, low gain, high gain?

Clean at lower volumes for sure, but it also depends what channel you use when cranked.

I’ve been using the TMB channel at rehearsal with the amp full up and driving. Recorded with it twice in a two amp set-up. Since I put the creamback in, it’s a lot better with single coil Fender guitars (but it’s not a Fender style amp, if you know what I mean).

I really like it - but I’ve gone back to solid state amps, which just work better for my band. That feels weird to say as I’ve always lusted after tube amps!

Yes - but without the tremolo.

Happy to do demos if anyone fancies.

Think early Marshall, something akin to a JTM45 style warmth. What I have always liked about those early Marshall amps and this Abbott, are the very useable fat warm clean tones. Stick a reverb unit in front and it’s instant Peter Green.

How is this still here when people are spending loads on fancy 5e3 clones? Just as good a circuit here.

Never known a time like it, so much great gear on here at the moment that just isn’t moving. Crazy.

Well, here's a very quick demo recorded on my phone in case that persuades anyone. Direct into the amp with a Strat with Lollar Blondes. If you want a humbucker demo, let me know - but I only have a humbucker in a bridge position.

Can vouch for the quality of these.
I have a Abbott Princeton with a 1946 celestion speaker. And it's prob the best clean amps I've played and breaks up nicely too.
The internals are a bit of a work of art too.

Sexiest amp I've ever played.  Why did I ever sell it back to you? :D

OP: GLWTS.  It sounds fabulous.  Great playing, too :)

I kinda fancy trying this out, but the Marshall vintage modern would have to go first. No spare cash atm, new guitar on the way.
Fancy a Vintage modern 100w head?

@Petepassion Don't think I've got a. cab that could cope with 100w, but drop me some pics, Pete.

Busy week, but will try and take photo's and upload when I get home.
It's like new condition, the fella hardly used it. And I may be wrong, but it feels about half the power of the usual 100w Marshall's. Not because it's faulty, just how these amps are, my last one was exactly the same.

Edit, I also have a 2x12 open back Orange cab with two Vintage 30's in. Nice and compact and also on castors
