where do you get your nice tort material for scratch plates...

Never used tort (I don't like it) but I've had good stuff from Allparts and Northwest Guitars. I've had some off an Amazon seller too but can't remember the name sorry

What sort of tort?   3-4 ply for fenderish guards or thicker single ply for Gibsonish guards 

I got some reasonably nice  single ply stuff from etsy that was sold for jewelry making

@WezV cheers I'll have a look. I'm not bothered if its single ply or multiple. Same with thickness... Just something that is pleasing on the eye...
