Austrian Grand Prix

Anyone been? We're looking at going to Austria next year for our hols and are hoping to take in the GP at the Red Bull Ring. However, it looks like the circuit is in the middle of nowhere and not really that convenient for either Salzburg or Vienna. From what I understand special trains were laid on this year from most of the larger Austrian cities but haven't yet managed to find out much about this. Perhaps renting a car is the way to go.
