Not sure if he's a member, but he probably did a lot of market research there.

It was an interview in guitarist promoting his kit, and he said the colour of the cables affected tone (note, not the composition of the insulation or anything - the actual colour of the plastic coating over the top of everything else). Nuts!

They were reassuringly expensive.
