WTB Something with P90s

What's Hot
Hi all

Looking for something loaded with 1 or 2 P90s.

Budget around £400-£500 mark but could go higher for the right guitar.

Would prefer North West around Manchester so I could try before I buy.

Depending on the sort of sound and vibe you’re after, the Gretsch G5210 P90 is well worth trying out. And either the hard tail or Bigsby version are in your budget.

Thanks for the suggestion. Will check out the hard tail.

I'm eyeballing the epiphone (inspired by gibson) Les Paul specials. £400 and some very favourable comparisons with their Gibson equivalent. The p90s in them are supposed to be great

I keep looking at the Yamaha Revster RS02 (if I remember the model correctly) - see a few recently with P90s for £400 ish - they look really good for the money

I think what this thread is going to tell us is that there are a lot great guitars with P90s and you don’t have to spend a massive fortune to get a really good one.

I actually had one of these. Great guitar but the neck was a little on the large size. The P90s sounded great though, that’s why the GAS for another P90 guitar.

If you prefer a slimmer neck, there was an Edwards in the Classifieds recently.

Thank you. I saw that. Have scratched the Les Paul special itch now so fancy something different.
The B&G guitars look nice but on the forum people say they vary quiet a lot in feel.

Always had a soft spot for Gordon Smith's. I guess a gs1 with p90 should be in budget.
