SOLD. Schecter Omen Extreme 6 Floyd rose virtually new £300, now £275
What's Hot
At big retailers £599, cheapest ive seen is £550 not in this colour. 60% s/h value of 550 =330. So its pretty much half price of what a new one would cost. Not to be confused with the model without the FR which retail cheapest 513 ive seen.
Swapped locally for a CV60s strat which i was just bored with and wanted to try something different or sell it on as cv60s are ten a penny.. Shredders are not for me ive decided, v nice playable guitar though and great specs.
Prev owner had it for his 21st (2022) but didnt play it much and after a broken string was too scared to attack the floyd rose and wanted something simpler. Said he had about 10 hrs on it. Ive had about 4. So believe its brand new pretty much, cant see a mark on it. Plastics remain on tuners and backplates.
Just had it set up last week for sale by the revered wynne jenkins who is local to me at cost of £50. So its good to go, new strings, shouldnt need adjustments to trem at all.
Its a proper looker in the flesh and the top is actual quilted maple, not patterned overlay, so flame is up there with my old PRS Ce24. Back has a really nice grain on the mahogony.
Plays really well and a smidge over 8lb , low action, but not insanely low, but as low as it would go with the FR nut wynne reliably informs me. Its coil tapped so pretty versatile so does the single coil pretty well.
Collection from swansea/carmarthen.

Would you be interested in trade items? (Instruments, home recording stuff, whathaveyou?)
Yes interested in trades/px. Show me your quirkiest.
Q2) Would you be willing to trade upwards. i.e. Schecter + cash difference against something more valuable?
Q3) What is it about shred stick guitars that you dislike? The neck profile, the fret size, the licensed Floyd Rose vibrato?
If you dislike FR systems, I shall know not to offer anything equipped with one.
2) Maybe for a bass, acoustic, classical, semi acoustic. Not for strat/tele/LP. Gretsch/335 maybe.
3) Nothing really, but on a discovery of experiencing lots of different stuff. I wouldnt do FR again, just not me, Neck feel was very good as was playability, frets a bit big for my woman fingers.
PM sent.
